Job summary

Greater Good Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and operate integrations that connect clinical, engagement, and operational platforms. You will extend a Laravel backend, create APIs, and collaborate with product and clinical teams to scale care delivery.

You’ll own data flows across systems, ensure reliability, security, and performance in a cloud environment, while mentoring fellow engineers and driving maintainability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building full‑stack, cloud‑native web applications.
• Strong backend experience in PHP and Laravel and building production systems.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs with security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Build and own integrations at the center of the platform and ensure end‑to‑end delivery.
• Coordinate data across systems, ensure accuracy, and timely data delivery.
• Extend Laravel backend with business logic and data models; maintain Livewire/Blade interfaces.
• Design, implement, and maintain well‑structured APIs for internal and external use.
• Work with AWS infrastructure, focusing on performance, reliability and observability.
• Mentor mid‑level and junior engineers and promote secure, reliable coding practices.
• Improve platform reliability, reduce operational burden, and enhance maintainability.
