Job summary

Capitalize, a New York City-based fintech infrastructure company, is seeking an Integration and Automation focused Software Engineer to join a small, fast-paced team. You will help Americans save for retirement by integrating with financial institutions and building scalable cloud-native services in AWS.

The role focuses on improving core transfer technology and designing resilient, scalable systems. You will work with Node.js, TypeScript, and optionally Java, in a hybrid office setting in NYC.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native applications.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript; experience with Java is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving skills, and an appreciation for taking on new challenges.
• Knowledge of relational databases and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in rapid product-development environments with fast iterations and tight feedback loops.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, highly distributed systems.

• Cloud-Native Development: Build and operate highly available services within our modern, AWS-based cloud architecture.

What You'll Bring:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native applications
