Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on infrastructure for Google Cloud Networking in Sunnyvale. You will develop and test core software, participate in design reviews, review peers' code, and contribute to documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in C++, C, or Python.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networking, or experience with compute technologies or hardware architecture.

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices (style, testing, efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content to product updates.
