Job summary

ARSIEM Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to develop, test, and enhance complex software systems for a government client in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will work independently and with teams, applying modern design methods and evaluating COTS/GOTS options to meet system requirements.

Required: 12 years SWE experience in similar programs, a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, and familiarity with Java, Springboot, Mongo, Kafka, and AWS/ECR.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a computing discipline and 12 years of SWE experience on similar projects.
• Experience with Java, Springboot, Mongo, Kafka and cloud familiarity is essential.
• Familiarity with COTS/GOTS integration and system requirements synthesis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops, tests, and enhances complex software systems per documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team and reviews software components.
• Provides input on design trade-offs, reuse, and COTS/GOTS integration.
• Mentors teams and guides software development across the project lifecycle.
