Job summary

LG Ad Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join our Denver or NYC office, building large-scale ad serving, measurement, and targeting systems that drive hundreds of millions in revenue. You will contribute to client tools for customer segmentation and work with Product, Operations, and other Engineering teams.

This hands-on role includes leading projects, mentoring peers, and collaborating with global teams, including India, in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining large-scale, high-quality software systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Scala, Go, Python, C++, JavaScript) and CS fundamentals.
• Experience with Spark/Databricks, MySQL, Redis/ElastiCache, ReactJS, Kubernetes, AWS.
• Ability to understand and refactor large codebases and design scalable systems.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and system design knowledge.
• Collaboration with distributed teams including India to deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable ad serving and measurement systems for large data volumes and high throughput.
• Implement and optimize big data applications for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Drive end-to-end ownership from requirements to delivery, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design guidance.
• Champion engineering best practices and a culture of quality and accountability.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and other Engineering teams on requirements and timelines.
• Work on integrations with internal and external platforms to enhance targeting and measurement capabilities.
• Contribute to system architecture design, long-term technical vision, and roadmaps.
