Sentry Insurance is seeking a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to join our Commercial Lines IT team in Wisconsin. The role supports full-stack development, cloud-first architecture, and agile delivery using modern technologies including Guidewire, Java, Vue, and Spring Boot.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of related work experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and software development concepts.
• Ability to evaluate multiple options to solve complex problems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with Guidewire, Java and Vue preferred.
• Commitment to continuous learning and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new and existing programs or solutions.
• Own the quality of assigned tasks, create test scripts and execute tests.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and scrum ceremonies.
