Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in backend or systems engineering.
• Ability to build scalable, resilient, and low-latency services.
• Comfortable guiding technical decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply modern distributed systems patterns for scale and reliability.
• Improve infrastructure with automation and self-service platforms.
• Build cloud-native systems in a hybrid multi-cloud environment.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response.

Skills

Strong coding skills in at least two of Go, Java, C/C++, Scala, Python, Elixir

Deep understanding of scalability and performance trade-offs

Experience owning services end-to-end

Hands-on experience with major cloud providers

CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices

Problem-solving skills

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

Communication and collaboration skills
