Job summary

NSA is seeking experienced Software Engineers to advance high-impact systems and teams at the Fort Meade Complex, MD. Roles span COBOL, C/C++, Java, cloud, containerization, and data analytics with a strong emphasis on CI/CD and security practices.

Minimum qualifications include a CS concentration. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and security requirements typical for national defense work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science (CS) or Software Engineering; foundational CS courses required.
• Experience in software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of modern tools and platforms used in NSA-like environments (CI/CD, containers, cloud, security) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advance high-impact systems and teams across the full tech spectrum.
• Work with COBOL, C/C++, Java, cloud, web and data analytic tools as part of project delivery.
• Collaborate with teams to design, build, test and sustain software solutions for national security.
