Counterpart Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable healthcare software, delivering interoperability through FHIR and HL7, APIs, and data pipelines. You will translate standards into robust code and tests while preserving clinical meaning and data quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production software with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR/HL7).
• Experience writing SQL queries in Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, or equivalent.
• Ability to create and consume Restful APIs; gRPC is a plus.
• Experience with cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production software implementing FHIR/HL7 interoperability standards.
• Develop and test APIs, services, and data pipelines that work with FHIR resources and HL7 messages.
• Translate standards into code, data models, validation logic, and automated tests.
• Preserve clinical meaning and data quality as information moves between systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and operational staff to develop new features.
