Job summary

Solventum, now a new company formed from 3M Health Care, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build secure, world-class software for healthcare. This fully remote role supports global teams and may require up to 15% travel to ensure collaboration and delivery excellence.

The position emphasizes Test-Driven Development, high-quality code, and strong collaboration with engineers worldwide. Onboarding may involve on-site activities and relocation is not authorized for this posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher from an accredited institution with 6+ years of software development experience.
• Or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Java, SpringBoot and SpringCloud.
• 2+ years of experience with Docker and Linux.
• 2+ years of experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, etc.).
• 1+ year of experience with deployment tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of world class software for the Healthcare Industry.
• Implement and incorporate good Security practices in Software Development.
• Determine the most optimum solution for a given problem.
• Support and collaborate with other engineers in solving problems and global teams.
• Create well tested, high-quality Software following a Test-Driven Development model.
