Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking a Software Development Engineer III (Healthcare) to join our distributed team. This hybrid role requires three in-office days and allows work from multiple offices, with relocation optional.

You’ll design, debug, build, test, and document applications across development and production environments to support member health journeys. You’ll collaborate on data pipelines, REST/GraphQL APIs, CI/CD, and modern security practices while mentoring junior engineers and aligning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field and at least 5 years relevant experience in a multi-platform environment.
• Strong programming skills in C#.NET, Python, Java; experience with SQL Server and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of TDD/BDD, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and directs creation of efficient and maintainable program code across complex systems.
• Prepares system documentation and test plans; contributes to testing and validation activities.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers; lead small teams and coordinate delivery milestones.
