Job summary

Lunar is building a new, AI-powered software platform for health systems, rewriting the information infrastructure from the ground up. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to tackle hard technical problems, from cloud-native design to real-time data synchronization across hospitals, nurses, doctors, and administrators.

You will work in a fast-paced, mission-driven team implementing modern architectures with Elixir and Phoenix, while exploring open-source solutions and ensuring robust data security

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with object oriented and functional programming, with the ability to use new technologies. We use Phoenix, Elixir, Python, Erlang, JavaScript, and more.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative team environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a track record of tackling challenging engineering problems.
• Intellectually curious with a growth mindset and ability to tackle novel challenges with fundamentals.
• Familiarity with open-source technology and a willingness to explore new solutions.
• Experience building 0-1 with a strong product sense.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical decisions, trade-offs, and best practices.
• A passion for making a meaningful impact in healthcare through software innovation.
