HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our national team of developers, geospatial analysts, engineers, scientists, business analysts and planners in Round Rock, Texas. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality software in an employee-owned culture and coordinating across disciplines.

You will design, develop, and mentor others while working in an agile environment on projects that leverage ESRI GIS tech, .NET, and modern web stacks to support client goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years practical web & application development experience.
• GIS development experience desired.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a national team of developers, geospatial analysts, engineers, scientists, business analysts and planners.
• Plan and design software solutions and deliver high-quality software on time and budget.
• Develop and deliver functional software to support project goals.
• Mentor less experienced developers on the AppDev Team.
• Contribute to an Agile development lifecycle and continuous improvement.
