Job summary

Google is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Core team and drive end-to-end features across a full stack with Gemini-based AI agents. You will contribute to scalable infrastructure, rapid development tooling, and production shepherding workflows while enabling safe, agent-driven operations.

You will work on design reviews, platform capabilities, and human-in-the-loop interfaces to empower engineers and accelerate developer velocity at Google.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in one or more languages.
• Experience in system design, distributed systems, and full-stack development.
• Experience building and deploying generative AI agents or LLM-powered apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in technical design reviews and reliability improvements.
• Design extensible platform capabilities for rapid scaffolding and live previews.
• Create HITL interfaces and operational panes for production-bound agents.
• Build robust APIs and grounding pipelines to maximize agent accuracy.
• Implement scalable features across frontend and backend stacks (Angular, Gemini, Python, Go, Kotlin).
