Job summary

AntragPlus in the United States is seeking an engineer to build and ship end-to-end product features, spanning UI, backend, and AI components, taking ownership from discovery to production. As one of the first engineers, you will collaborate across frontend, backend, infra, and AI tooling, shaping architecture and engineering standards while delivering reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Build end-to-end product features including UI.
• Work across frontend, backend, infra, and AI pipeline.
• Take ownership from discovery to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Advance AI capabilities through prompt engineering and context management.
• Work with AI providers such as AWS Bedrock, Anthropic, and OpenAI.
• Develop AI evaluation practices, including prompt quality and regression detection.
• Operate, monitor, and debug the live production environment.
• Use Sentry, CloudWatch, and Postgres performance monitoring.
• Contribute to AWS infrastructure including ECS and RDS.
• Shape technical architecture, standards, and roadmap.
• Define how the engineering team works and its standards.
• Take ownership of technical problems and drive them to resolution.
• The company builds digital infrastructure for grant funding with AI-supported analysis and expert review.
• As one of the first engineering hires, shape culture of ownership, iteration, and customer-first values.

Job description

• Build and ship end-to-end product features independently, including user interface.
• Work confidently across the frontend, backend, infrastructure, and AI pipeline.
• Take ownership of problems from initial discovery to production deployment.

AI Development & Evaluation:

• Advance AI capabilities through prompt engineering, context management, and cost control.
• Work with AI providers including AWS Bedrock, Anthropic, and OpenAI.
• Develop and own AI evaluation practice, including prompt quality and regression detection.

Production, Infrastructure & Reliability:

• Operate, monitor, and debug the live production environment.
• Work with tools like Sentry, CloudWatch, and Postgres performance monitoring.
• Contribute to infrastructure on AWS including ECS and RDS.

Engineering Architecture & Technical Leadership:

• Shape technical architecture, code quality, engineering standards, and roadmap.
• Help establish how the engineering team works and the standards it follows.
• Take complete ownership of technical problems and drive them to resolution.
