RTX’s Raytheon Software Engineering organization in Fullerton, CA, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Air C2 and Sensors team. You will contribute to mission‑critical C2 software, design, implement, test, and maintain applications, and collaborate in an Agile cross‑functional environment with up to 25% travel.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience in OO design, Java development, and databases, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. U.S.

Experience with asynchronous communication patterns, particularly using Message Brokering platforms, WebSockets or similar technologies.

Experience with modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React, and a solid understanding component-based architecture.

Experience working with a range of infrastructure and platforms.

Experience with one or more scripting languages.

Experience with reactive programming paradigms and frameworks for building scalable, event-driven applications.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
