Job summary

Google is seeking software engineers to develop next-generation technologies powering billions of users and their interactions with information. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions across full-stack areas on high-impact projects.

You will handle project priorities and deadlines, participate in design reviews, and contribute to documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• At least 5 years of object oriented programming experience in Java, C++ or Python.
• At least 5 years of JavaScript or TypeScript programming experience.
• Minimum 5 years in front-end frameworks, full-stack development, or API development.
• At least 3 years of testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• At least 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
• Preferred: Master's or PhD in CS or related field.
• Preferred: 5 years of data structures/algorithms experience.
• Preferred: 1 year in a technical leadership role.
• Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).

• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
