Hypori, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on frontend and full-stack capabilities. You will own the Hypori Console, a React/TypeScript web app backed by Java and Go microservices, scaling for enterprise and regulated environments.

You will collaborate with product managers and administrators to translate designs into production UI and ensure end-to-end quality across the stack. You will mentor engineers, contribute to architecture, and work within a secure development framework

Senior Software Engineer – Frontend‑Focused Full‑Stack

Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer at Hypori , you will join the team that owns web application development . Your primary focus will be on the Hypori Console, used to administer the Hypori platform by both our internal administrators and our customers’ group/tenant managers . You will lead front-end architecture and implementation for the Hypori Console , scaling it to support deployments spanning hundreds of thousands of users and virtual workspaces . The Hypori Console is a React and TypeScript application backed by Java and Go microservices. Y ou will spend most of your time in UI layer s and be the person the team looks to for front-end judgment, while remaining fluent enough in the services, data model, and deployment pipeline s to deliver features end - to - end.

User experience is a core part of this role rather than a dedicated function at Hypori : you will collaborate with both product managers and Hypori Console users on interface design , and translate prototypes into production UI. Because the Hypori C onsole is the primary entry point into Hypori for administrators and group managers , doing this well requires developing a strong working understanding of the platform itself, and real empathy for the console’s users.

Responsibilities:

• Shape the end-to-end user experience of the Hypori Console – gather feedback and input from stakeholders, define interaction patterns and information architecture, and turn complex administrative workflows into clear, efficient interfaces, collaborating with Product Management on priorities and direction
• Lead the Console's front-end architecture – component structure, state management, routing, build and test tooling – and maintain a shared component library and conventions that let other engineers contribute confidently
• Deliver and troubleshoot features end-to-end, from UI through the REST APIs and backend services that support them, in a microservices architecture deployed on Kubernetes
• Integrate the Console with enterprise identity providers and Hypori's authorization model – single sign-on, session handling, and role-based access control
• Build accessible interfaces that meet Section 508 / WCAG 2.x AA expectations
• Collaborate with QA to establish and maintain front-end test coverage – unit, component, and end-to-end – integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Act as subject matter expert for frontend matters across Hypori – mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and influence technical decisions through guidance and articulation of tradeoffs
• Responsibly use provided AI tooling to accelerate engineering tasks and improve product quality
• Protect intellectual property, user data, and system integrity by (a) adhering to Hypori's policies and procedures for secure software development and (b) following best practices for secure product design, implementation, and deployment of development, build, test, production, and other environments
• Provide periodic, off-business hours on-call support to operations staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant depth in front-end engineering and a demonstrated ability to architect scalable enterprise web applications, not only contribute features to them
• Expert-level command of modern frontend development, including state management, data fetching, component composition, and web fundamentals
• Working proficiency in at least one backend language, and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, container-based delivery, and public cloud platforms
• Product sense and design judgment; with a track record of defining interfaces, not only implementing them; able to anticipate what users need and represent their perspective in product and engineering discussions
• High agency in a fast-paced, collaborative, constantly evolving environment; curiosity about the systems behind the interface; and a passion for the products you build
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards and how to build and test against them
• Proficient knowledge of secure coding practices, including common web vulnerabilities and their mitigations, and identity and access management patterns
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical work across one or more teams
• Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders, acting on user feedback, and maintaining documentation
• Must be a US citizen or green card holder

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience building interfaces for security, identity, or infrastructure management products, particularly for operator and administrator audiences where density, auditability, and error prevention matter more than visual novelty
• Familiarity with enterprise component libraries and design system practice
• Experience with front-end observability – error tracking, usage monitoring, performance budgets

Salary Range: $180,000-$195,000 +10% bonus
