Meadow is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale Meadow Pay, its student financial engagement platform. You will design, implement, and operate core backend and frontend systems in collaboration with Product, CX, and Integrations teams.

The role emphasizes delivering reliable, scalable product experiences for universities nationwide and embracing AI tooling to enhance daily workflows. It’s a full-time, ownership-driven position with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Builder mindset with high agency and urgency.
• Proven success communicating and collaborating with Product, Design, Engineering & non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of product features from design through deployment and ongoing support.
• Architect and build scalable backend services and APIs (TypeScript/Node.js).
• Contribute to frontend development using modern frameworks (React).
• Design systems with reliability, observability, and maintainability in mind.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, CX, and Integrations teams.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality and system design.
• Improve engineering processes, tooling, and documentation to support scale.
• Shape technical decisions and engineering culture as we grow.
