Job summary

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in managing and working with cloud architectures like AWS, GCP
• 2+ years of proficiency with Kubernetes (K8s) architecture, container runtimes, and package management
• Hands-on experience with observability and integrating with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Splunk
• Hands-on experience with building tools/framework to manage system diagnosis
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

You will partner with product, SRE and other engineering teams to bring those systems to life by building necessary tools. As a senior engineer, you’ll mentor junior engineers, contribute to design and code reviews, and help shape how Find My Micro Services scales into the future. Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of network security, firewalls, encryption (at rest and in transit), IAM roles, and secret management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, cloud native secret managers).
• Experience leveraging LLMs or AI tooling for operational automation and workflow optimization
• Strong ability to communicate complex infrastructure concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
• Proven track record of leading and managing enterprise level projects or multi-functional engineering initiatives

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
