Job summary

Google is seeking software engineers in Kirkland, WA, to develop and bring to production next-generation software and hardware. You will work on embedded systems, contribute to consumer electronics deployment, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to achieve scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in C/C++, embedded OS, and production experience, with a track record of delivering hardware-enabled software at scale.

• 5 years of software development with C/C++.
• 3 years of experience with embedded operating systems.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience taking consumer electronics devices to production.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with version control systems like Git and code review tools like Gerrit.


• Experience developing accessible technologies.


• Knowledge of embedded development and Microcontroller (MCU) Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) systems.
