Job summary

Mainz Brady Group seeks a backend-focused engineer to build production-grade distributed systems powering AI for American manufacturing. You will design scalable microservices and data pipelines, and shape a growing AI-enabled platform in Linux environments.

You will contribute to backend architecture and leverage AI tooling to accelerate development, while aligning with real-time guidance on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Python and 5 to 10+ years building scalable backend systems in Linux environments.
• Deep experience with service architecture, contract-first APIs, schema evolution and fault-tolerant communication.
• Daily expertise with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Augment, Copilot or similar.
