The Digital & Innovation group at USP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our digital products development teams.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

5–7 years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud computing and modern web technologies.

Technology Stack

Frontend

• Strong Expertise In Js (Preferred) Or Any Other Equivalent

Backend

• Experience with js and Java Spring Boot (Preferred) or any other equivalent
• Hands‑on knowledge of microservices architecture

Database

• Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL (Preferred) or any equivalent
• In‑memory data store: Redis , Memcached or any other equivalent
• Experience with GraphQL clients (Apollo Client)
• Familiarity with SQLite DB Browser for local database inspection

Cloud & DevOps

• Solid understanding of Cloud technologies with preferred technology being AWS and corresponding services like EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway
• Experience with Docker for containerization and application deployment
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices

Additional Desired Preferences

• Strong appetite for learning and applying AI/ML technologies in real-world use cases
• Experience working with engineering teams using JIRA / Confluence
• Familiar with AI‑assisted design & prototyping tools (Figma Make, Claude, v0)
• Solution‑oriented problem‑solver with strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Exposure to regulated industries like Pharma is a plus
