Job summary

Rippling is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the Data Cloud team in San Francisco. You will develop backend features using Python and Django and collaborate with frontend engineers using React/TypeScript to deliver polished user experiences.

You will work across the stack, shipping complex projects, owning aspects of data tooling and analytics capabilities while learning from user feedback and contributing to a culture of engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production environment using Python, Django, or related technologies.
• Familiarity with frontend development using React or TypeScript.
• Exposure to systems operating at significant scale; strong CS fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve product backend capabilities and user-facing features across the stack.
• Collaborate with PMs and designers to translate requirements into high-quality code.
• Move quickly and confidently, filling gaps from evolving product details via user feedback.
• Build a culture of excellence within the product and engineering teams.
