Job summary

Praxis Engineering, A GDIT company, seeks an experienced Software Engineer to join our cyber-focused team in Maryland. You will research, analyze 802.11 traffic, design and release high-quality software meeting mission requirements.

Requirements include a BS in CS or related field and 7+ years as a software engineer, with skills in C++, UI development, 802.11, Matlab and DSP; active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required, and seven(7) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and projects of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Key skills in: C++, User interface development (Flutter, QT, etc), 802.11, Matlab, DSP
• Familiarity with in and out of band Wifi standards and protocols a plus
• Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Responsibilities

• Implement development in a tailored agile methodology, utilizing GitLab for build/merges
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
• Clearly communicating in a team environment with fellow engineers, stakeholders, and customers
• Estimate, decompose, and implement iterative tasks, automated tests, and routine builds, in a team environment
