Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
Write or review software and system documentation.
Lead the team at the level appropriate to the software process in use.
Design or implement complex database interfaces/queries.
Develop algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
Assist with test procedures for software components.
Analyze systems flow and data usage to improve software performance.
Modify software to correct errors or adapt to new hardware.
Design or modify software systems using mathematical models.
Implement complex algorithms with timing/resource constraints.
Improve documentation and software development process standards.
Coordinate software installation and monitor operation.
