The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Customer Financial Execution, to lead technical direction on a product team building digital experiences for financial operations across the North America unit. You’ll collaborate with architects, platform teams, and SAP specialists to design scalable, reliable solutions.
You will influence architecture, code, and engineering practices, mentoring others while delivering production-grade software with modern tools and processes.
Job Description Summary: Digital products play a central role in how we create value for customers, support the teams who serve them, and enable our business to operate at its best. Our Product and Engineering organizations bring together small, empowered teams that combine engineering, product, design, and data expertise to solve meaningful problems and deliver measurable outcomes across Coca-Cola's North America Operating Unit. As a Senior Software Engineer, Customer Financial Execution, you'll serve as the technical lead on a product team building digital experiences and capabilities that support important financial operations across our business. Some of the most interesting engineering challenges exist where complex business processes, established enterprise platforms, and modern technologies come together. This role offers the opportunity to work in that space, bringing fresh technical thinking, strong engineering practices, and a deep understanding of users to products that operate at meaningful scale. We're looking for an engineer who loves solving complex problems, has strong architectural instincts, and wants to influence what gets built, not just how it's implemented. You'll work across enterprise platforms, connected applications, and modern technologies, helping your team find solutions that are simple, reliable, and built to evolve. This is an opportunity to bring great software engineering and product thinking to an important part of Coca-Cola's business.
Coca-Cola's financial operations bring together sophisticated business processes, enterprise applications, and data that support how we work with customers and manage financial transactions. You'll help build and evolve capabilities spanning customer financial interactions, billing, invoicing, reimbursements, and related financial processes. These experiences involve complex workflows, business rules, transactional systems, and integrations across a broad enterprise technology ecosystem. You'll work with SAP and other enterprise platforms alongside modern applications, APIs, cloud technologies, and data capabilities. The technical challenges range from designing intuitive user experiences and building scalable services to connecting systems, managing complex data flows, and ensuring the reliability and integrity of financial transactions. You don't need to have all the answers or be an expert in every underlying platform. You'll collaborate with architects, platform specialists, and engineering partners to understand existing capabilities, evaluate technical options, and determine the best approach for the product. You'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, experiment with new approaches, and help establish engineering practices that make our products better and our teams more effective.
You’ll be part of a dedicated, cross‑functional product team that is: Empowered to solve problems, not just build features Accountable for outcomes, not just output Collaborative by default, from discovery through delivery Continuously learning, using data and user insight to improve Engineering is an equal partner in product decisions. We expect engineers to bring ideas, challenge assumptions, explore possibilities, and help shape solutions from the earliest stages of discovery.
Engineering depth: Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building reliable, scalable applications Architectural judgment: Ability to navigate complex technology environments, evaluate alternatives, and make thoughtful technical trade‑offs Enterprise integration: Understanding of how applications, platforms, APIs, and data work together across interconnected systems Product mindset: Genuine curiosity about users, business problems, and why products are built Hands‑on technical leadership: Comfortable shaping architecture, writing code, reviewing designs, and mentoring other engineers Collaboration: Able to bring together different technical perspectives and work effectively with product teams and enterprise technology partners
