Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team. You will help build foundational services and SDKs across platforms, designing clean APIs and reliable systems that enhance the user experience.

You will collaborate with product teams to scope projects, ship cloud functions and backend services using Kotlin, and optimize performance, loading speeds, and parsing accuracy. Ideal candidates think in systems, move quickly, and collaborate effectively with designers

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Java ecosystems.
• Proven ability to design scalable APIs and reliable systems.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and backend services.
• Ability to work across product teams and balance UX trade-offs.
• Prior experience in a fast-growing startup environment is a plus.

Responsibilities
