Job summary

Patterson Companies is seeking a Software Engineer III to define, develop, test, and maintain software applications in support of company requirements. The role involves collaborating with clients and teams, documenting requirements, and delivering scalable solutions in a cloud-based SaaS environment.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a relevant field and 5 years of programming experience with MS.NET, C#, VB, and OO design, plus Angular front-end experience. Azure familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5 years of programming experience across MS.NET, C#, VB, and OO programming in Windows Forms and SQL Server environments.
• Experience with front-end web technologies – Angular.
• Experience building scalable applications using fundamental design principles.
• Preferred: Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, developers and team members to conceptualize and develop software applications.
• Define, develop, and document software requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications with internal users.
• Research, analyze, and fulfill requirements of internal and external users and stakeholders.
• Write scripts to enhance functionality and performance of applications.
• Execute software testing to correct errors and debug existing programs.
• Lead development planning, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
• Mentor peers with technical guidance and reference.
