Job summary

Broadcom's Cloud Native Storage (CNS) team is building a highly scalable Cloud Native Storage platform that tightly integrates with vSphere, vSAN and CSI to automate storage for stateful workloads. You will design and deliver features across the storage control plane and data plane, enabling Kubernetes workloads at scale across thousands of clusters.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in distributed systems, strong CS fundamentals, and hands-on Kubernetes experience, with a focus on reliability,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience building highly scalable distributed systems.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science & Engineering.
• Strong foundational knowledge in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with scale, performance, and concurrency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dependable operation of Kubernetes storage control planes across thousands of enterprise environments.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle management of Kubernetes workload clusters.
• Work from the storage control plane to the vSAN data plane to enable Kubernetes workloads.
• Architect kubernetes storage control-plane workflows for creation, upgrade, movement, and scaling across thousands of clusters.
• Develop automated tests to validate correctness, upgrades, and resilience of distributed systems.
