Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement new products and enhancements. The role involves cross‑functional collaboration across the development lifecycle, from concept through production.

The successful candidate will have 6+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in C# or Golang and APIs/Web Services. A Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or CS is preferred. Hybrid work is available within commuting distance of select offices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical experience in software engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with C# or Golang.
• 3+ years of experience with APIs/Web Services.
• Experience with design patterns and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Performs and may lead system analysis and programming activities to deliver high‑quality software.
• Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery to retirement.
• Develops, tests, and reviews applications based on business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborates with QA to ensure timely delivery of reliable products.
• May lead cross-team projects and work with stakeholders to define scope and timelines.
• Creates technical documentation and participates in architectural discussions.
• Stays updated with emerging technologies and suggests improvements to development processes.
