Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer, Software ClinApp to design and implement software applications that support our medical products. The role is hybrid with onsite 3 days per week, in Suttons Mills, MA.

You will work with cross-functional teams to develop scalable C++ solutions, leverage modern C++ features, and use Qt for cross‑platform interfaces. Strong knowledge of SDLC, Linux scripting, and CI/CD is required to deliver reliable software in a heavily regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience with C++, emphasizing object-oriented design, use of design patterns, and leveraging modern C++ features.
• Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Understanding of software development life cycle, with focus on clean, testable code.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting and command-line tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Qt for cross-platform UI development is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software and related processes within medical product design controls.
• Improve software engineering process efficiency.
• Resolve software defects and support best practices in development.
• Perform root cause and failure analysis activities.
• Collaborate with internal/external staff to conduct design, prototyping, and related software engineering activities.
• Author and review software specifications and maintain technical records.
