Job summary

Nordson Electronics Solutions, a global leader in assembly and advanced packaging stage solutions, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for Windows desktop environments. Requires a BS in Computer Science and 7–10 years of experience with C#/.Net, WPF, and Windows development. Motion systems hardware control and interface experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree in Computer Science and 7-10 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of C#/.Net and developing applications for the Windows desktop environment.
• Experience with WPF is desirable; familiarity with motion systems hardware control and interfaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives software engineering activities including requirements, design, implementation, testing, debugging, release, and documentation.
• Leads task teams, mentors junior engineers, and participates in feasibility studies on new designs.
• Interacts with customers to assess issues and develop user and system requirements.
• Evaluates and applies standard engineering techniques with judgment for adaptations.
