Job summary

GEICO seeks an experienced Senior Engineer to help build high-performance, low maintenance, zero-downtime platforms. You will drive our transformation from a traditional IT model to a tech organization with engineering excellence, while fostering psychological safety and continuous improvement.

You will scope, design, and build scalable systems, lead design sessions, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams using .NET (C#), REST, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience within the .NET framework (C# including object-oriented design)
• Experience with architecture and design
• Experience with open-source frameworks
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and Azure DevOps tooling
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
