Job summary

CVRD Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This hands-on role focuses on building, improving and scaling our platform for benefit and payroll software used in health tech.

You will work on end-to-end features, performance improvements, and architecture discussions. You should have 7+ years of software experience, strong API design skills, and a track record with scalable web apps and modern testing (Playwright).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks e.g. Playwright.
• Experience building scalable web applications.
• Strong API design and integration experience.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Build new product features across our platform.
• Improve the performance, reliability and scalability of existing systems.
• Collaborate with Product to refine technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and help raise engineering standards.
• Identify and solve technical problems before they become customer problems.
• Help improve our automated testing and deployment processes.
