Job summary

Triumph is seeking a backend engineer based in San Francisco to own significant parts of our engineering system. You will build consumer-facing features, address data-driven challenges like matchmaking and anti-fraud, and push for faster shipping through CI/CD and experimentation.

You should be excited to take on growing responsibility and to align with Triumph's high-energy, high-growth environment at our SF headquarters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer (Go is nice).
• Strong product sense and ability to translate ideas into outcomes.
• A strong personal slope and desire to grow one's career.

Responsibilities

• Build consumer-facing features to improve Triumph's core metrics.
• Solve data-driven problems such as matchmaking and anti-fraud.
• Iterate on engineering processes to speed shipping (CI/CD, experimentation).

Being a backend engineer at Triumph is both demanding and rewarding, and your scope will cover (but not be limited to):

• Building consumer facing features to help Triumph's core business metrics

• Solving difficult data drive problems, such as optimal matchmaking, anti-fraud, etc.

• Iterating on engineering processes to allow the growing team to ship fast - eg. experimentation platforms, improving CI/CD
