Job summary

Nuro is hiring software engineers to advance its autonomous driving platform. You will contribute to Onboard Systems, Performance, and Devices Platform initiatives, collaborating with software, hardware, and systems/safety teams to build a reliable, scalable foundation for autonomous vehicles.

The role requires strong C++ expertise, experience with large-scale systems, and a track record of solving complex problems in multi-threaded environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related field.
• Strong C++ skills and experience in large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with profiling, tracing tools and multi-threaded environments.

Responsibilities

• Work on Onboard Systems to integrate autonomy software and algorithms safely and reliably.
• Improve performance of AV software, reduce latency, and optimize resource use.
• Develop Devices Platform software, drivers, and APIs for sensor and compute hardware.
