Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate sector, Data Visualization & BI, is seeking a Software Engineer III to design and deliver secure, scalable technology products. You will own features end-to-end, partnering with infrastructure and security to keep services reliable.

Responsibilities include building secure production code, creating visualizations from large datasets, and leveraging AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery while maintaining security standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with Python and Django and database querying languages.
• Experience building REST APIs using Django REST Framework.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Cloud Foundry, or similar).
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with demonstrated ability to validate outputs for correctness, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to solve non-routine problems.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run with systems.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer reviews and automated tests.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value realization.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement.
