Apple is seeking engineers to help build observability infrastructure for CloudKit and iCloud services. You will design, develop, and operate distributed backend services that ingest vast volumes of operational data and run on Kubernetes at scale.
You will collaborate across teams, moving between coding, architecture decisions, and production ownership, with opportunities to apply machine learning techniques to improve reliability and efficiency.
We're building the next generation of Apple's cloud services observability infrastructure. Join us to design and build the applications and services that give us deep insight into the operational health and efficiency of CloudKit, Apple's foundational privacy-focused database platform, and many other iCloud services.
We're looking for engineers with a strong track record of building fault-tolerant, distributed systems, and the judgment to operate confidently in a complex, high-scale environment. Our team builds the services and applications that power observability across CloudKit and other iCloud services, giving engineers the visibility they need to operate at massive scale. You'll work across the full lifecycle, from designing new services to deploying them on Kubernetes, while collaborating closely with infrastructure and platform teams whose systems you integrate with. We value engineers who can move fluidly between hands-on coding, architecture decisions, and production ownership, and who are curious about applying new techniques, including machine learning, to solve operational problems.
