ZealHire Inc. is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our airline-focused engineering team.

You will design and implement scalable software using Angular, Node.js, and MongoDB, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and performance. The position requires strong hands-on experience with the core technologies, a track record of delivering robust systems, and the ability to drive initiatives across teams.

Qualificações

• Seven or more years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale software solutions.
• At least five years of hands-on experience with Angular, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain software applications and processes.
• Build scalable solutions using Angular, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Lead significant capabilities within existing systems and design services or components.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve domain-level issues.
• Decompose complex designs into maintainable implementations.
• Improve quality, reliability, security, performance, and craftsmanship.
• Define test suites, monitoring, and instrumentation for production targets.
• Identify vulnerabilities and guide security controls.
• Promote observability and supportability across systems.
• Lead delivery of small, valuable batches with efficiency.
• Encourage reuse of components and patterns across implementations.
• Coach engineers on development practices and system design.
• Identify opportunities to improve tools and processes.
• Support production troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
