Job summary

Google is seeking software engineers to join YouTube's team in Mountain View to build scalable systems. You will work on end-to-end design, development, and deployment of large-scale services that power billions of interactions daily.

You will collaborate across teams, apply information retrieval, ML, and distributed computing skills, and contribute to architecture decisions while delivering high-quality software with strong testing and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience programming in Python and C++.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience building and deploying recommendation systems models in production; and experience building architecture.
• 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $174000 - $252000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
