Job summary

Infor is building a new AI-enabled product development capability in Atlanta. As a Senior Software Engineer you will join at an early stage and help craft the technology and the team’s approach, combining hands-on coding with AI experimentation to deliver production-ready software.

You will design components, work with AI tech like LLMs and RAG, and shape architecture while collaborating with experienced engineers and leadership to scale solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on software development experience.
• Experience building and delivering production software.
• An understanding of software architecture, system design and maintainability.
• Practical experience with modern AI technologies, including LLMs and RAG.
• Ability to take ownership and move work forward without predefined steps.
• A product engineering mindset and interest in building long-term solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop components of a new AI-enabled technology capability.
• Build high-quality, production-ready software and remain hands-on with code.
• Contribute to technical architecture, system design and engineering decisions.
• Develop solutions using modern AI technologies, including LLMs and RAG.
• Experiment with new technologies and turn promising ideas into robust solutions.
• Help integrate newly developed capabilities with existing Infor technologies and platforms.
• Collaborate closely with experienced engineers and technical leadership.
• Apply strong software engineering principles to a fast-moving AI development environment.
• Take ownership of technical problems from exploration through implementation.
