H-E-B is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Search and Recommendations team in Austin (On-site). You will drive product discovery experiences across H-E-B Digital, working on relevance, query understanding, experimentation, and AI-driven experiences at grocery scale.

You will mentor peers, own team services, and lead production readiness, deployment pipelines, and cross-team collaboration to deliver high-impact features.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Writes production-ready code and tests that meet acceptance criteria, are easily testable and secure.
• Creates, configures, and supports build and deployment pipelines.
• Leads others in coding, testing, and delivering features aligning with process.
• Provides on-call production support and debugging for complex issues.
• Mentors peers and fosters collaboration across teams.
• Reviews epics, manages dependencies, and priorities with stakeholders.
