Job summary

Probably Genetic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement our AI-enabled patient experience, genetic sequencing workflows, and scalable biotech data platform. You will build front-end in React/TypeScript, APIs in Python/Django, and collaborate across product, design, and clinical data teams to ship high-value features.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing full-stack applications.
• Experience with front-end focus and shipping high-quality code quickly.
• Excellent communication skills with engineers and non-engineers alike.

Responsibilities

• Work across teams to transform requirements into front-end releases that improve patient engagement.
• Create APIs, lab integrations, bioinformatic tooling, and ML infrastructure using Python, Django, PostgreSQL and AWS.
• Develop phenotyping frontend and biotech data platform in React & TypeScript.
• Review PRs and technical proposals to maintain high standards and architectural quality.
• Present work to stakeholders, monitor outcomes, and incorporate patient feedback.
• Contribute to fast-paced development processes and continuous improvement.
