Job summary

NVIDIA in North Carolina seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to drive the design and development of our agent sandbox cloud VM platform, enabling scalable and secure agent workloads.

You will partner with teams across NVIDIA to translate AI workflow requirements into dependable platform capabilities, raise the bar on reliability, and contribute to production readiness with strong backend and distributed-systems expertise.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in software, platform, infra, or cloud engineering with backend/distributed systems focus.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems concepts, including service communication, asynchronous processing, retries, idempotency, and eventual consistency.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for data modeling and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design for cloud VM platform initiatives end-to-end.
• Build and operate scalable, secure agent workloads and sandbox services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, VM lifecycle, app delivery, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with NVIDIA teams to translate AI workflow needs into platform capabilities.
• Improve reliability, scalability, observability, and production readiness.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and security.
