Job summary

ThinkTek LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to support software architecture, systems integration, and technical analysis for federal government programs. The role emphasizes design reviews, performance analysis, and cybersecurity considerations across enterprise and simulation environments.

You will decompose requirements, evaluate GOTS and COTS solutions, review vendor code, and collaborate with cyber teams to improve security posture.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• 8+ years of software engineering, architecture, or systems engineering leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with DoD or Federal government programs.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and analyze software architectures for scalable, secure systems.
• Review and assess code quality and vendor-provided code.
• Evaluate GOTS and COTS solutions against requirements.
• Analyze performance, reliability, and security; collaborate with cyber teams.
• Integrate data exchange between distributed systems and APIs.
• Document analyses, decompositions, tests, and remediation recommendations.
