NextDeavor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer AI to lead the AI shift within a fully remote engineering organization. You will modernize core lending products on a strong C# and .NET foundation while guiding how the team uses AI in daily work.

You’ll own from design through production, set practical AI coding standards, and mentor peers to deliver high-quality software across the entire stack, from backend services to frontend interfaces.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, or close to it and clearly ready for a senior role.
• Deep experience with C#, .NET and .NET Core.
• Hands-on React, TypeScript, SQL and REST API work.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• A solid grasp of distributed systems and scalable architecture, including debugging production issues.
• Daily use of AI coding tools, and a clear way of checking what they produce.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring other engineers.

Become a Key Player as a Senior Software Engineer AI

This company is a long-established software provider in financial services, and its platform is used by hundreds of lenders across the US. It’s fully remote, has never had layoffs, and plans to double its revenue over the next several years. AI is a big part of that plan, starting with how its own engineers build software.

You’ll join as a senior engineer on a new team with two goals. The first is to modernize the company’s core lending products on a strong C# and .NET foundation. The second is to lead how the engineering team adopts AI in its daily work. You’ll own work from design through production, set practical standards for using AI coding tools well, and help other engineers get real value from them. This isn’t a role building AI products for customers. It’s for a strong senior .NET engineer who already works with AI every day and wants to help a whole team do the same.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role

Pay Range

Up to $170,000 base, depending on location and experience
