Taxwell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver features across our tax filing platforms. You’ll own complex frontend and backend work using .NET, Vue, and C++, with AI-assisted development tools to boost velocity while preserving quality.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing applications with .NET
• Experience with Vue and/or Angular
• Exposure to C++ is helpful but not required.
• This role includes maintenance of existing C++ applications, so candidates should be comfortable learning and working with C++ as needed
• Familiarity with Microsoft development tools and workflows such as Visual Studio, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps
• Experience building, debugging, and maintaining production systems
• Ability to independently break down complex problems, evaluate solutions, and drive work through completion
• Experience contributing to technical design discussions and code reviews
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools, and a willingness to continue developing that skill

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who is comfortable taking ownership of complex features, solving challenging technical problems, and working across both mature and evolving systems. You’ll design and deliver features, troubleshoot difficult issues, refactor existing applications, and contribute to technical design and delivery decisions. The work spans several technologies, with the current mix approximately 40% .NET, 30% Vue, 20% C++, and 10% Angular. We value engineers who think critically, ask good questions, and take pride in building high-quality software. AI-assisted development is a growing part of our workflow, and you’ll be expected to use tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools to increase velocity while maintaining high standards
