Job summary

FleetPulse, based in Chicago, IL, is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to own end-to-end development of our telematics web platform, from backend services to rich frontend interfaces.

You will design robust APIs, improve observability, partner with product, and mentor teammates to raise engineering standards while delivering measurable value for customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Kotlin, Java, or Python backend languages.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or another major cloud provider.
• Familiarity with relational databases and schema design.
• Commitment to code quality and engineering best practices.
• Experience with large distributed systems focusing on observability and monitoring.
• Excellent collaboration in a team.
• Based in Chicago, IL.

This role is based in Chicago, IL, and candidates must be able to work on-site. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.

Compensation range: $140,000 - $175,000 annually
