Job summary

Legaledge is seeking an experienced Architect to design and build core systems powering deterministic legal automation. You will work directly with the founder to create scalable, maintainable platforms that support multiple legal verticals and ship production-grade features end-to-end.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of software engineering, expertise in TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Go, or Rust, and a track record delivering complex state machines or workflow systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in backend language (TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Go, Rust preferred).
• Experience building state machines, rule engines, or workflow systems.
• Strong understanding of database design and distributed systems.
• Proven track record shipping production systems at scale.
• Experience with modern dev practices (Git, CI/CD, testing).
• Bonus: Legal tech or formal verification experience.

Compensation

$140,000 - $180,000

• Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 based on experience
• Significant equity stake (accelerated vesting for early hires)
